At the weekend I went through the Rimutaka Forest on a short 5km walk with my family and a couple of friends. This was something different from the day to day suburban life that we live and it was good to experience all the different sights and sounds nature has to offer. One of the more interesting things was the hollow tree we came across on the Orongorongo track.
